Théau Leclercq
Hydrography Research Professional

Théau Leclercq graduated from the University of Québec at Rimouski (UQAR-ISMER) in the winter of 2022 with a Master's degree in oceanography with a specialization in physical oceanography. His research topic was on the Gaspé Current, and more specifically on observations and processes of upwellings and downwellings on the edge of this large current.

He also holds a bachelor's degree in hydrography and the IHO Cat.B certification, which he obtained in July 2019 thanks to the new training program offered by the University of Western Brittany in partnership with the SHOM school.

After graduating from his master, Théau was able to carry out a post-graduation internship with the Exail company, formerly iXblue, during which he learned to conduct hydrographic surveys with the DriX USV, a revolutionary surface drone for hydrographers and oceanographers.

He joined the CIDCO team in March 2023.
