With over twenty years of experience in applied research and innovation, Mr. Frédérick Blouin has held the position of General Manager of CIDCO since 2025.

His career is distinguished by strong, mobilizing leadership, solid expertise in organizational management, and a deep understanding of the innovation ecosystem in Québec. He has successfully led growth strategies, the development of strategic partnerships, and the advancement of research in multidisciplinary contexts.

With an engineering background, complemented by a Master's and a PhD in engineering specialized in marine biotechnology, Jihed Bentahar leads innovation and commercialization at CIDCO. 

In his role, Mr. Bentahar is dedicated to technological evolution, the development of strategic partnerships, and the transfer of technology to the market. His activities focus on trend analysis, adapting the offering, and enhancing the value of technological advancements.

Vishwa Barathy Gandhi Kalidasan

Vishwa earned his Master of Computer Science degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2023.

With a rich experience of 27 years as a technician in the automotive field. Mr. Guimond is now proud to be part of the CIDCO staff He joined the team in August 2022 as an Equipment Technician and Storekeeper.


Dominic Gonthier

Dominic Gonthier

In 2008, Dominic obtained a DEC in biomedical analysis and began a career as a laboratory technician in microbiology at the Rimouski hospital. During the 13 years he spent in this position, he had the opportunity to work on the implementation of a new computer system, which made him discover a world full of possibilities.

In the fall of 2020, he began studying computer science by correspondence at Université Laval. Dominic quickly developed an interest in Python programming, artificial intelligence and relational databases.


Bacem Houimli

Bacem Houimli

Electronics Engineer, Bacem Houimli also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and currently serves as a Project Manager at CIDCO. With over 15 years of experience in hydrography and underwater inspection technologies, Mr. Houimli began his career in the offshore industry, where he held various roles, progressing from hydrographer to project manager and party chief.


Sophie Lebel

Sophie Lebel

Trained at UQAR in accounting, Sophie Lebel has been working for 15 years in various cultural, environmental and philanthropic NPOs.  She specializes in financial project management.  Her arrival at CIDCO was a natural fit in August 2020.


Dany Doiron

Dany Doiron

Dany Doiron holds two DEP. The first in electronic device repair (2000) and the second in IT support (2004). He also has an A.S.P. in microcomputer repair (2000). In 2000 he worked for a sound and lighting company. He gained experience in electromechanical and automation. For more than 20 years, it has evolved with innovations in electronics and IT. He participated in the realization of several design projects in electronics and IT. His interest in mecatronics and artificial intelligence led him to develop autonomous equipment.

Mohamed-Ali Chouaer

Mohamed-Ali Chouaer

A geomatics engineer, Mohamed-Ali Chouaer also holds a Master's degree in Geomatics from Laval University and serves as a Project and Training Director at CIDCO. With over ten years of experience in geomatics and hydrography, Mr. Chouaer has accumulated substantial expertise in managing hydrographic projects and overseeing the CIDCO training program in hydrographic surveying.
