Jacob Poirier
Marine geomatic specialist
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics and a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Civil Engineering, Jacob Poirier has been working in the fields of surveying and marine geomatics for nearly six years.
His professional experience has led him to take part in a variety of maritime and hydrographic projects across Canada, both in the field and in administrative roles, allowing him to develop a solid understanding of marine environments and hydrographic survey systems.
He now works as a Geomatics Specialist at CIDCO, where he contributes to the acquisition and processing of hydrographic data, supports research and development activities, and assists with CAT-B training activities.
