Jean-Michel Desgagné

Jean-Michel Desgagné holds a bachelor's degree in geomatics engineering from Laval University. He make the move to CIDCO in 2026 as a specialist in marine geomatics for R&D projects and contributes to the field activities of the Category B training. 

It was during his university career that hydrography picked up his curiosity and revealed itself to him as the fusion of many aspects of geomatics and international maritime issues. In addition, he can count on his past internship experiences in research environments to promote cohesion between CIDCO's development and field activities. He was also able to deepen his expertise in GIS mapping software and databases within the Ministry of Public Security.

Jean-Michel's career continues in a field that he will have to tame and that will challenge him. He will be able to count on his analytical mind, his ability to adapt and the entire CIDCO team to deal with them.
